Lukasz Szymczak, our dedicated Production and Planning Manager shares insights into his role, the continuous improvements in production efficiencies and how output has doubled whilst maintaining quality and consistency.
How long have you worked with STOFIX?
I started my job in STOFIX in July 2017, celebrating my seventh year at STOFIX HQ in 2024.
Tell us about your role?
As the Production and Planning Manager, I oversee the entire production process, ensuring the effective implementation of production plans. My responsibilities include planning, organising, and analysing ongoing production operations. I actively manage the supply of raw materials and consistently work on optimising the production process. My primary focus is on enhancing the overall efficiency of our operations.
Tell us about the production efficiencies in the factory?
Undoubtedly, over the last eight months, our production results have significantly increased, surpassing historical figures. While it’s evident that the production of corner panels is comparatively slower than flat panels, our overall production rate continues to grow. Currently, we maintain an average weekly output up to 1500 sqm. The variation depends heavily on the types of panels being produced and the complexity of the design.
