How long have you worked with STOFIX?
I’ve worked with STOFIX since October 2023.
Tell us about your role?
As a purchasing specialist at STOFIX, I oversee procurement activities for manufacturing and maintenance needs. This includes sourcing components, negotiating prices with suppliers, managing stock inventory, and ensuring accurate invoicing for bookkeeping. A significant aspect of my role involves efficiency initiatives through supplier negotiation and exploring alternative suppliers. Additionally, I’m actively involved in implementing the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to streamline our procurement processes.
What materials are used in the production of STOFIX brick-slip systems, and how were these materials selected?
STOFIX uses various materials for daily production, including bricks, steel frames, mounting systems, mortar, and sand. While I’m not directly involved in the selection process, these materials are chosen based on specific criteria such as quality, reliability, delivery time, and payment terms, in addition to cost considerations. This ensures that our products meet stringent standards and specifications.
Where do you see the future for STOFIX?
STOFIX has tremendous potential to expand its presence across European markets and become a globally recognised brand in the brick slip facade system industry. With a dedicated team and robust capabilities, we’re well-positioned for growth. Strategic marketing initiatives will also play a big part in this vision and further establishing STOFIX as a leader in the industry”.
