Operations Director reflects on 2024 and looks ahead to opportunities and growth in 2025
STOFIX Group Operations Director, Alex Porter shares insights into a year of growth, progress, and global expansion plans for 2025.

Growing Team
One of the standout achievements of 2024 has been the growth of the STOFIX team, which now numbers 130 dedicated professionals. Alex acknowledges the collective effort that has driven success: “Reflecting on our progress, it’s clear that finding the right people has been pivotal to our growth. While I can’t mention everyone by name, each individual’s contribution is deeply valued. We remain committed to creating a workplace where people feel appreciated and empowered to grow their careers. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication and commitment throughout the year.”
Expanding Globally
The STOFIX footprint has continued to grow across Europe in 2024. New sales routes have been established in multiple countries, supported by the launch of a new website and LinkedIn company page. These platforms have generated interest in markets such as Belgium, Spain, Romania, and even as far as Australia.
Leading in Fire Protection
Fire safety legislation is evolving across Europe, with a growing emphasis on standardising fire protection in construction materials. Historically, many markets have preferred glued brick slips with insulation backing boards, but updated standards are driving a shift toward Class A2 or higher-rated systems. “STOFIX Group is committed to staying ahead of these changes,” Alex notes. “We are positioning ourselves to meet the needs of any European market, delivering solutions that prioritise safety and performance.”

As STOFIX Group enters 2025, the focus will remain on growth, innovation, sustainability, and maintaining the high standards that have set the company apart.
