How long have you worked with STOFIX?
I celebrated nine years at STOFIX in July 2024.
Tell us about your role?
I began my journey at STOFIX by overseeing and managing production operations. After a year and a half, as part of my ongoing professional growth, I transitioned into logistics moving to the position of Logistics and Warehouse Manager. My role is to optimise logistics processes and manage the warehouse.
Tell us about the culture of STOFIX HQ?
At STOFIX, collaboration, sustainability, and growth define our culture. Within our logistics team of seven, mutual support is paramount. Sustainability is ingrained in our culture and throughout operations, from choosing eco-friendly transport partners to waste segregation and using electric forklifts.
Tell us about StoTrack, your logistics system?
StoTrack is our bespoke materials tracking solution which we launched in July 2024. The system allows us to streamline packing and delivery to reduce environmental impact and improve efficiency. StoTrack offers numerous advantages to clients, making the entire logistics process more efficient and precise. The bespoke system is designed to allow clients to track the specific locations of each pre-pointed brick slip panel, schedule deliveries to site, and receive automated updates on production. How does STOFIX optimise logistics to minimise environmental impact and increase efficiency?
We work with transport companies that adhere to the EURO 6 exhaust emission standard. By doing so, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint, making a tangible contribution to minimising our environmental impact. In addition to this, our aim is to send our stock on full truck loads in order to optimise our logistical efficiency. We combine multiple projects into one shipment in order to optimise loading space. This means we are ensuring improved efficiencies throughout the whole logistics process.
Where do you see the future for STOFIX?
I see STOFIX as the leading player in our field across Europe and I’m excited to be part of this future. The potential for global expansion is immense, and there is undoubtedly much more growth and success to come.”
