ENGINEERED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS

The STOFIX brick slip cladding system is a ventilated, separated façade system. Its key advantage lies in the structural separation of the functions of thermal insulation and weather protection. This makes the system less susceptible to damage than traditional façade systems. In addition, performance requirements such as energy efficiency, fire safety, acoustic performance and lightning protection can be achieved without compromising aesthetics. STOFIX brick slip elements are mechanically fixed to the system rails, creating a continuous cavity between the insulation or load-bearing wall and the cladding. This separated construction prevents structural movement within the building from being transferred to the brick slip cladding.

Pre-pointed Cladding Elements

Unlike traditional brickwork, the STOFIX system is based on precision prefabrication. Genuine brick slips are factory-fixed to a backing panel under carefully controlled production conditions before being up to 95% pre-pointed in the factory. This enables faster installation with fewer weather-related delays, reduced material consumption and shorter construction programmes. Panels are manufactured to a maximum size of 600 × 1,200 mm, making them easier to handle while keeping their weight to a practical level. STOFIX cladding panels can be fixed to any load-bearing structure capable of supporting approximately 43 kg/m². The fixing system is suitable for both insulated and non-insulated constructions.

Mounting System

Where no additional insulation is required, the Z-rails are fixed directly to the load-bearing structure, which can typically consist of durable insulated panels. Where the substructure is required not only to support the façade elements but also to provide secure support for an insulation layer, the wall bracket system is used. Wall brackets are available in a range of sizes, allowing the mounting system to be adjusted to suit the required insulation thickness while enabling thermal bridge-free construction.

Engineering

Based on your design, we prepare detailed façade layouts with clearly referenced panel drawings. Panel formats, bond patterns, joint layouts, interfaces and bespoke panel sizes are all documented to ensure the design intent is accurately translated into construction. Each panel is precision manufactured to the exact project dimensions and clearly labelled for efficient logistics and installation. The result is a consistent, installation-ready façade system that helps minimise programme time on site.

We configure the substructure to suit the façade layout and the specific requirements of your project. Component locations and fixing details are clearly defined, with the entire system structurally coordinated and manufactured to precise dimensions. This provides the façade contractor with a clear, project-specific installation solution that reduces complexity and improves efficiency on site.

Logistics

STOFIX TRACK, our bespoke material tracking solution, has transformed the way projects are managed. STOFIX TRACK provides clients with greater visibility and control throughout the logistics process. The system enables users to track the location of every pre-pointed brick slip panel, schedule deliveries to site and receive automated updates on production progress.

Unitised façades

For off-site construction projects, STOFIX is also available as part of unitised façade systems. Panels up to 600 × 1,200 mm are integrated into storey-height façade systems under controlled factory conditions. The result is shorter construction programmes, reduced material consumption and measurable cost savings across the project.
